Two new women's clothing stores coming to West Acres
FARGO – West Acres Shopping Center is getting two new stores, both catering to women’s fashion.
White HouseBlack Market will start construction in April in the 3,800-square-foot space formerly occupied by PacSun.
It is anticipated the store will open by August.
Ann Taylor Loft will open this fall in a 5,000-square-foot location.
“These two new retailers are among our most-requested stores, so we know a large segment of customers will be very happy,” said Brad Schlossman, West Acres CEO.
It will be the first North Dakota store for either of the national brands.
Both brands have a presence in the Twin Cities.
Schlossman said the stores will carry goods that currently are not available at the mall.
He said Loft will be moving into space that had been occupied by The Buckle.
The Buckle, he said, is expanding and moving into space that had been occupied by Abercrombie & Fitch.
White HouseBlack Market apparel and accessories are largely black and white, though there are seasonal forays into color.
Collections vary from classic everyday to upscale looks for a night out, according to information provided by West Acres.
The West Acres Loft store will offer a feature unique to Fargo: a “style closet” that will lead to fitting rooms and contain must-have pieces for the season.
It will also be a place where customers collaborate with employees to come up with style choices.
“Our client relies on us to be her trusted personal stylist,” said Joan Ciancaglini, vice president of Loft Stores. “We’ve redesigned our store concept to deliver a personalized store experience.”
